SUBSTANCE: coffin comprises a case which is rigid, elongated and waterproof. The case comprises a cavity to enclose a dead body having a size to fit a size of the dead body. One of a case elements has an opening and enables the case cavity communicating with outer space. The coffin also accommodates a filter arranged in the opening and comprises a filtering porous filler. The filler is pervious to water of a reservoir into the case cavity and let water back. The filter comprises perforated barrier and the filtering porous filler arranged between the perforated barriers.

EFFECT: development of the coffin filter with the filtering porous filler which is a substrate for bacteria, microorganisms and/or microscopic hydrocoles able to feed on decomposition products of human body tissues and/or their derivatives.
