FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to device and method for producing dead or heavy oil specimen from oil-bearing bed reservoir. Proposed device allows extracting specimens of formation water from those of reservoir. It is possible to measure physical or chemical properties on invariable specimens not containing mineral fine fractions and water. Analyses made on specimens will help oil field operators make adequate decisions on drilling and oil extraction in everyday practice. Set of inventions allows collecting specimens from simulation of extraction thermal methods, dead oil and oil for in-line analysis of movable oil physical properties. Proposed device comprises cylinder-and-piston assembly with bottom bore, piston drive, filtration unit arranged across bottom base, fluid collector including base plate sealed with respect to cylinder surface.
