FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is apparatus for laboratory measurement of spontaneous polarisation (SP) potential of rock samples, having an electrolytic bath which is divided into three parts by two dielectric partition walls with a core sample mounted in each of said parts. The apparatus includes two horizontal tables, first two metal plates rigidly mounted over the horizontal tables, second two metal plates rigidly mounted below to the corresponding boxes for installing salt bridges and non-polarised electrodes. The latter are connected to corresponding second metal plates. The non-polarised electrodes are connected through salt bridges to washing liquid compartments, and input terminals of a millivoltmeter are connected to the first metal plates on which boxes of salt bridges and non-polarised electrodes are fitted.
EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring spontaneous polarisation ΔUsp in a wide dynamic range.
