FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to traumatology and may be used for surgical management of fractures of neck of femur. A device comprises a supporting plate having guide holes for a strand of connection wires with external clinches, and a threaded hole for a screw coupling with a retainer plate. The supporting plate is oblong and has one through groove on both ends for creating through channels in the femur and inserting an L-shaped rod locator in each groove to catch up a cortical layer of the femur with an bent end. On an external end of the L-shaped rod locator there is a thread for a lock nut. The guide holes for the strand of connection wires are inclined in the supporting plate. The retainer plate is oblong and irregular of the area somewhat exceeding the area taken by the guide holes in the support plate. The supporting plate and the retainer plate have additional one aligned holes by the second screw.
EFFECT: invention provides higher reliability of osteosynthesis of fractures of neck of femur due to higher strength of coupling and fixation of the supporting plate and the cortical layer of the femur.
