FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to making titanium-based implants to be fitted in bone tissue. Proposed method comprises: (a) jet machining of implant outer surface by aluminium oxide particles at pressure; (b) chemical treatment of aforesaid r outer surface by acid composition containing hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid, and (c) thermal treatment of said outer surface by heating to 200-450°C for 15-120 min. Invention covers also metal implant with surface produced as described above.
EFFECT: sufficient roughness with suitable morphology, good osteointegration.
