FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method relates to aircraft and aerospace engineering, namely, to connecting parts covering one another by adhesive, in particular, for connections working in highly loaded frame structures, e.g., solar battery frames, rods, reflectors consisting of metal fittings made predominantly of titanium and alloys thereof, and profiles made of composite materials. In order to increase the strength of adhesive connection of a metal fitting made predominantly of titanium and alloys thereof with a profile made of a composite material, the primary task consists in increasing the adhesion of the adhesive layer with the titanium alloy by increasing the adhesion area. Substance of the invention consists in the fact that in the process of manufacturing metal fittings on surfaces subject to adhering, corrugations are applied on a lathe by making helical grooves in the right and left sides, or annular ducts on a milling machine.
EFFECT: provided solution increases the mechanical characteristics of the adhesive connection and reduces the probability of the effect of human factor during preparation.
