FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. What is described is a surface of a metal titanium implant to be inserted in a bone tissue which contains essentially pure titanium oxide and has a thickness of 8-50 nm. What is also described is a method for producing such surface. Such surface is characterised by good micrometric roughness and composition which practically does not contain any impurities, and by the thickness which is approximately three times more than thicknesses of traditional surfaces.
EFFECT: characteristics provide very good osteointegration properties of the surfaces.
