FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to methods of adjusting parameters of structural elements of die fixtures. In compliance with this invention, probable particular values of every initial error component are simulated to calculate resultant check error and quantitative statistic parameters of model distribution. Data are tabulated and used for calculation of model and conventional allowances. The latter are compared with drawing allowance for structural element check size to forecast probability of rejection of parts to be made. Multiple correlation-regression analysis is performed to reveal factors affecting precision of die part sizes and to correct initial ranges of tolerable variation of sizes in said parts.
EFFECT: forecasting precision of sizes in designing structural elements.
