FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, and namely to tuyere cooling system when natural gas is being supplied to blast furnace. Method involves cooling water supply to narrow annular cavity formed with inner shell of tuyere and additional shell around it. Then, water is supplied along generatrix of inner shell along ring to tuyere nozzle to the cavity formed with additional and outer shells to be discharged through the branch pipe in flange. Natural gas is supplied through annular header formed in tuyere flange and provided with nozzles opening to cavity of tuyere air blowing. Device is equipped with additional shell forming together with tuyere inner shell a narrow annular cavity to which cooling water supply branch pipe is connected. Water discharge branch pipe is connected to tuyere cavity formed with additional and outer shells. Tuyere flange is connected to gas supply branch pipe and made in the form of annular header having nozzles for distributed water supply to tuyere air cavity.
EFFECT: use of invention increases tuyere stability and service life.
