FIELD: ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to production of iron in blast furnaces, and design of blast furnace tuyeres. Blast furnace tuyere contains a flange, a face, outer and inner cones interconnected by welds and forming a blast channel and a cooling cavity, a gas supply pipe, coolant inlet and outlet pipes, the first and second middle cones installed between the outer and inner cones, as well as inlet and outlet collectors installed between the outer and inner cones. Each of the collectors is made with a balancing partition. The first and second middle cones are installed in such a way that narrowed annular channels are made between the inner and first middle cones, as well as between the outer and second middle cones.
EFFECT: increased resistance of the tuyere by increasing the efficiency of its cooling due to the uniform distribution of cooling water flows over the flow sections of the annular channels and ensuring the necessary speed of water flows through the narrowing of the annular channels.
