SUBSTANCE: system for supplying natural gas to a blast furnace. Blast furnace tuyere contains branch pipes for supply and discharge of cooling water, outer and inner nozzles, nose part, flange and gas supply channel, made in the flange in the form of an annular manifold with radial holes made in it, opening into the cavity of the blast channel. At the same time, a one-piece heat-insulating insert with a gap in relation to the surface of the air channel is installed in the blast channel. And the ratio of the total cross-sectional areas of the radial holes of the annular collector is greater than the cross-sectional area of the inlet of the gas supply channel.

EFFECT: improved mixing of gas with the blast flow, increased service life of heat-insulating inserts and reduced heat loss with cooling water.
