FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: device is made as capable to prevent ice formation in a cooler (10, 15). The device comprises a low-temperature cooling system with a circulating coolant and the cooler (10, 15), in which gas medium containing water vapour is cooled down with the coolant in the cooling system. The device comprises an electrical circuit with an electric heating element (28, 28a, 28b), which is arranged in contact with the coolant in the cooling system, a voltage source (36, 36a, 36b) and a circuit breaker (30, 30a, 30b), which may be installed into the first position, in which it disconnects the heating element (28, 28a, 28b) from the voltage source (36, 36a, 36b), and into the second position, in which it joins the heating element (28, 28a, 28b) and the voltage source (36) so that the heating element (28, 28a, 28b) receives power and heats coolant in the cooling system.
EFFECT: invention provides for safe cooling of gas medium, which contains water vapour with simultaneous elimination of cooler clogging risk.
