FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: in the method according to which a shaft is balanced and after each component is installed, an assembled rotor is balanced; magnetic cores are installed on the shaft; values of maximum radial runout of magnetic cores relative to balancing surfaces and angles of those runouts relative to zero mark on the shaft are measured. Centres of masses of shaft and installed rotor components are determined. As correction planes of imbalances there chosen are planes of cross sections passing through centres of those masses. Local erection imbalances of shaft and rotor components are corrected by material elongation in correction planes. Correction point angles of erection imbalances relative to zero mark of angle on shaft and correction masses are determined from the proposed relationships.
EFFECT: improving rotor balancing accuracy with correction of local erection imbalances determined with eccentricity of its installation.
