FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: first transceiver in packet switching communication system functions for achievement of efficiency. The transceiver contains receiver and transmitter for bidirectional communication with the second transceiver. In different versions of implementation, the data traffic scheduling and control allow for grouping several unrelated elements during single events of transmission and/or receive. According to one aspect, receiver operation includes receive of the first signal from the second transceiver where the first signal requires transmission of responding communication line information to the second transceiver. Time period is determined during which the first transceiver can start grouped transmission of responding communication line information and initiating communication line information which is not related to the information transferred by the first signal. Grouped transmission of information of initiating and responding communication lines starts within certain time period. Applications of power sufficient to maintain receive and/or transmission can be limited to those periods only when these components are being used.

EFFECT: lower power consumption in equipment due to reducing time of communication equipment receive and transmission.
