SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to method of creating cabin pressure differential and measuring volume of leaks, and device to this end. Proposed device 20 comprises air feed pipeline 14, air feed valve 36 arranged in said pipeline, pressure gage 50, air exhaust pipeline 42, exhaust valve 48 arranged in pipeline 42 and electronic control unit to control valves 36 and 48. Proposed method comprises stages whereat compressed air is fed into cabin 14 via pipeline 14 to measure pressure in said cabin and generate signals corresponding to cabin pressure with the help of pressure gage 50, and released air from cabin through opening 44 and via pipeline 44. Note here that electronic control unit controls valves 36 and 48 in response to signal coming from pressure gage 50 so that the latter feed compressed air into cabin to first preset pressure level, maintain said pressure for first preset time interval and release air therefrom.
EFFECT: higher accuracy.
