FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: intermediate part to connect shaped bodies from manganous steel with carbon steel, in particular, crosspieces cast from manganous austenite steel with standard rails, is made of steel selected from a group of austenite-ferrite duplex steels with a portion of ferrite <60 wt %, which contains the following components, wt %: C - max. 0.03, Cr (21-23), Ni(4.5-6.5), Mo(2.5-3.5), N(0.1-2.22), is first welded with a standard rail, and then with a cast from manganous austenite steel.
EFFECT: invention prevents formation of dents in a zone of a welded joint and development of even hardness and strength along the entire welded joint.
