FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: air flow power plant comprises an air channel and shells. In the air channel there is a generator with an impeller. The shells are filled with gas lighter with air, for instance, helium. The air channel is made in the form of a rope structure and is coated with an air impermeable fabric. The rope structure comprises circular belts at a certain distance from each other and is supported with shells fixed to the upper part of the structure and at a certain distance from each other along the height to appropriate belts. Shells by means of valves and pipelines are connected to a pump station comprising reservoirs for gas lighter than air, for instance, helium. At the specified distance from the surface of earth or water there is a rope system fixed to appropriate belts. The rope system is fixed also to shells or to levers fixed also to the earth surface by means of blocks, or is attached to floats fixed to anchors, which may be attached to the bottom or stay in the water thickness. A film transparent for solar radiation is attached to the rope system. Water surface or dry land may also be coated with a film.
EFFECT: simplified manufacturing, increased reliability and efficiency of a power plant.
