FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: clutch system for establishing and interrupting a power flow between the engine and the transmission gearbox of a vehicle includes transmission clutch (2), valves (3a, 3a', 3b; 4a, 4a', 4b; 9; 10) controlling a volume flow of machining medium and can be electrically controlled through electronic control unit (5). Valves (3a, 3a', 3b; 4a, 4a', 4b; 9; 10) are made capable of maintaining current operating condition of transmission clutch (2) in case of power failure. In case of a power failure when a vehicle is not moving, the engine is running and the transmission gearbox is engaged transmission clutch (2) actuation or disengagement by itself is prevented.
