SUBSTANCE: method involves calculating a complex safety indicator for each communication network node, allocating memory arrays for storing user identifiers and alternative routes for message packets, allocating alternative routes for message packets for each pair of alternative connections to the network, comparing values of the complex safety indicator of a network node with a predetermined minimum allowable value, calculating the accessibility indicator for each "dangerous" communication network node, comparing the value of the accessibility indicator of the communication network node with the predetermined minimum allowable value, calculating time taken to meet conditions for each user connection version and ranking alternative user connection versions of the communication network according to the value and selecting the version with the maximum value.
EFFECT: high accuracy of results of comparative evaluation of communication network structures by taking into account the behaviour of random and deliberate interference on the communication network node.
