FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: when encoding a source binary array of length n=2m bits, said array is randomised through bitwise modulo 2 summation with bits of a pseudorandom binary sequence, and the resultant uncorrelated pseudorandom sequence, which is such that zero and unit values are equally probable, is subjected to direct Walsh-Hadamard transform, using only summation and shift operations; from the obtained n=2m coefficients, L<n coefficients are selected, and each of the L coefficients together with the value of its index in the set of Walsh-Hadamard functions of the given order 2m is recorded and stored on a certain electronic memory device, or transmitted over a communication channel to a receiver which decodes said sequence.
EFFECT: reduced hardware expenses.
