FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the area of encoding/decoding information. When performing the information encoding method, the array of encoded information is divided into logically completed fragments, each of which is associated with an element of the molecular genetic system used for encoding; to the set of elements of the system, the corresponding indexing information consisting of i-information bits is added; to each code combination of information bits, a combination of k-control bits is determined, depending on the combination of the i-information bits; every i+k bit information in binary notation is written in the form of a multiplet consisting of n-number of nitrogenous bases or corresponding amino acids and being an element of the molecular genetic system, together with the encoded information, a value of n is recorded, on which the size of the matrix used for encoding depends, as well as information on the selected matrix transformation method and the order of its reading.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of noise-immune encoding/decoding of information by increasing the amount of information transmission/reception while reducing the number of elements used.
