SUBSTANCE: system comprises a display unit for presenting a view of segmented 3D medical image on a display; an indicating unit for specifying a position on the presented view; an activation unit for firing an event; an identification unit for identifying a segmented anatomic structure contained in the segmented 3D medical video data on the basis of said position on the presented view in response to the fired event; and also an actuating unit for execution of an action connected with the identified segmented anatomic structure that allows receiving the information on the segmented 3D medical video data. The action executed by the actuating unit can represent displaying a name of the segmented anatomic structure, a short description of the segmented anatomic structure or prompt messages of a potential abnormality or dysfunction of the segmented anatomic structure.
