ANATOMICAL MODEL CONSTRUCTION FOR PERIMETER MARKING OF TUMOUR REGION OF INTEREST Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC A61B6/00 G06T7/00

Abstract RU 2544479 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to diagnostic visualisation tools. A nidus detection system comprises a segmentation unit of an anatomical first presented image of the region, a detection unit of high tracer accumulation according to the functional second presented image, a classification unit of high tracer accumulation in accordance with a position with regard to the anatomical structures, an accumulation detection unit, which analyses the segmented regions to identify normal and abnormal regions, an attenuation unit of high tracer accumulation on the functional second presented image on the basis of the results obtained by the classification unit, the above attenuated regions correspond to the anatomical structures, which are identified as normal; there are also provided an identification unit of the high accumulation as one of the potential pathological change, and a regulation unit configured to compare metabolic activity of the non-attenuated high-intensity regions to metabolic activity of the regions identified by the accumulation detection unit as normal. A diagnostic visualisation system for implementing a method for diagnostic visualisation comprises an anatomical image scanner, a visualisation scanner by positron tomography and said nidus detection system.

EFFECT: using invention enables the qualitative assessment of pathological changes and reducing the time of identification.
