SUBSTANCE: electric contact comprises a contact point, and a device for its fixation, which is arranged in the form of a current-carrying holder equipped with elastic elements with tabs, at the same time the contact point is made in the form of a truncated pyramid with the base in the form of a rectangle, and elastic elements fix the contact point at three sides. The contact point is fixed against horizontal displacement along the holder at the side free from elastic elements, by means of tabs bending, and faces of the truncated pyramid are arranged to the base at the angle of 75-87 degrees.

EFFECT: increased reliability of electromagnetic relay operation and increased manufacturability of contact group production.
