SUBSTANCE: process gas is produced in, at least, one gas filter by fractionation of ambient air. Note here that components of fractional ambient air used as process gas are processed in, at least, one sterilisation filter of the unit. The latter is used to pack foodstuffs in packing means using process gas not containing oxygen. Note here that gas is produced in unit comprising, at least, one gas filter by fractionation of ambient air. At least, one sterilisation filter is arranged downstream of one outlet of filter supplying fractional air used as process gas. Membrane gas filter is used in said unit to produce process gas not containing oxygen.
