FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: hydraulic air motor comprises a body, inlet and outlet fittings, as well as a shaft integrated with a cylindrical rotor. The rotor comprises two parallel rectangular channels flipped over with respect to each other. From an internal end surface, each rectangular channel is covered by a bottom inclined to a longitudinal axis of the channel. Both bottoms lay on the same line which passes through a rotation centre. From an external end surface, the channels are opened and found in fluid communication with an inlet annular space. A chamber of the channels is also connected through a side face to an outlet annular space. The reverse rotation of the rotor is ensured by the very same auxiliary rectangular and outlet channels found in fluid communication with the other matched annular spaces. The body comprises a crane for reversal of rotor rotation.
EFFECT: invention enables simplifying the design and providing higher motor efficiency.
