FIELD: blasting.

SUBSTANCE: device to generate a blast wave comprises an initiation source, an intermediate detonator, the main charge from an explosive, which is low-sensitive to a detonating pulse of an explosive, a matrix from an inert material with a network of branched detonating channels, end sections of which are arranged with expansion, aflush with the matrix surface, adjoin the main charge and are grouped so that expanded parts of end sections included into one group, adjoin each other, forming a combined part, with the possibility to directly receive a detonating pulse from 2-4 branches of the matrix channels. Detonating channels and the intermediate detonator are made of an explosive material, which is more sensitive to a detonating pulse compared to the main charge explosive, at the same time combined parts of different groups are separated from each other by partitions from an inert material, with thickness Δ from 0.9 to 1.1 mm, and thickness δ of the combined part is selected from the following ratio: δ ≥ 0.22dcr +1.2, where dcr - critical diameter of the main charge explosive.
