FIELD: blasting operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to explosive equipment, to design of explosive devices. Device includes a main charge of explosive substance, a matrix of inert material with a network of branched detonating channels activated by an initiation source, and a protective layer of copolymer, which is adjacent to main explosive charge and is made of fluoroplastic with thickness δ, selected from following relationship: δ=(0.098-0.12)Δ, where Δ is matrix thickness in mm. Method of assembly comprises formation of main charge by charging housing with an explosive, placing matrix with a network of branched detonation cables and gluing on main explosive charge a protected layer of copolymer using an adhesive based on epoxy resins and plasticisers, wherein before gluing, method includes preliminary chemical treatment of glued surfaces of protective layer with an acidic solution of potassium permanganate and perchloric acid, prepared by dissolving said components in water heated to 50-60 °C, in following ratio (%); potassium permanganate - 10-12; perchloric acid - 3-4; water - balance.
EFFECT: technical result of claimed invention is improvement of safety of device by increasing fire safety while maintaining operating performance.
