FIELD: explosives.
SUBSTANCE: explosive device includes a main explosive charge, an additional explosive charge in contact with it along the end surface, an additional explosive charge actuation unit located coaxially with the additional explosive charge. The explosive device is equipped with a detonation delay located between the main explosive charge and the additional explosive charge activation unit. An additional explosive charge is made of at least two n-layers located coaxially, with different densities, the value of which is selected from the condition: a layer with a smaller (ρmin) density determined from the expression ρmax =(0.80…0.88)⋅ρt, where ρt is the calculated theoretical density of the explosive, contacts with a detonation delay, a layer made with a greater (ρmax) density close to the density of the main explosive charge, determined from the expression ρmax =(0.92…0.98)⋅ρt, where ρt is the calculated theoretical density of the explosive; it contacts with the main explosive charge along the end surface. The density of the explosive layer (ρmedium) located between the layer with a smaller (ρmin) density and a layer with a higher (ρmax) density of explosives, is determined from the expression ρmedium =ρmin +Δρ, where Δ =(ρmax-ρmin)/(n-1), n is the number of layers.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the operation of an explosive device when it is initiated.
