FIELD: blasting.
SUBSTANCE: explosive device comprises two explosive charges placed into separate compartments, a connecting unit. The connecting unit is placed between compartment bodies. The connecting unit is made in the form of a solid structure from a material, the value of acoustic impedance of which differs from the value of acoustic impedance of explosive device compartment vessel material at least twice. The outer surface of the connecting unit is made with different diameters. A part with a larger diameter is placed in a longitudinal section of an ammunition between connected compartments. A part with a smaller diameter interacts with responsive parts of connected compartments. There are circular bores arranged on parts of the connecting unit contacting with compartments. Between the ends of coupled compartments and the connecting unit there are axial gaps.
EFFECT: increased protection against action of a blast wave of an earlier actuated charge that goes along an explosive device vessel towards other compartments of the explosive device.
