FIELD: probes.

SUBSTANCE: probe penetrating into the barrier contains a body made in the form of a pointed tip made of high-strength material, connected along the landing cylindrical surface with the rear compartment. The payload is located in the rear compartment, which is fixed in the end part of the body with a fastener. The payload can be both recording equipment and an explosive charge in the case of using the probe as a disposable product. A groove is made on the outer surface of the rear compartment, while a gap is formed between the rear end surfaces of the tip and the rear compartment, the groove is closed from the outside with a thin-walled ring made of non-metallic material. An insert made of a plastic material is installed in the groove, for example, or a ring made of a plastic metal material is installed on the insert.

EFFECT: reduction of shock effects on the payload caused by high-velocity impact and/or associated with the effects of explosive detonation when using lead charges.
