FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: cassette shot hitting element comprises case with cylindrical and bottom parts, explosive, fuse and case fragmentation localisers. Localisers are composed by annular grooves at case outer surface. Case is composed by two shells, solid inner shell and composite outer shell consisting of several isolated parts. Parts of outer shell are formed by separate isolated rings. The latter are arranged at inner shell to make spacing between their side surfaces approximately usual to or smaller than inner shell thickness at the their location.
EFFECT: sprinters of approximately one optimum weight at shot blast.
