FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: explosive assembly comprises two explosive charges placed into separate compartments, a connection unit. The connection unit is installed between compartment vessels. The connection unit is arranged in the form of a solid structure from a material, the acoustic impedance value of which differs from the value of acoustic impedance of materials of explosive assembly compartment vessels at least twice. The outer surface of the connection unit is arranged with different diametres. A part with a larger diametre is installed in a longitudinal section of the ammunition between connected compartments. A part with a smaller diametre interacts with responsive parts of connected compartments. A part of the connection unit contacting with compartments is made with through holes in the form of a parallelogram. One of the parallelogram sides is parallel to the end of the connection unit.

EFFECT: increased protection against impact wave from a previously actuated charge that passes along the explosive assembly body to other compartments of an explosive assembly.
