FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method of detecting conjugated xenobiotics during doping tests in athletes, involving preparation of the analysed urine sample via enzyme hydrolysis in the presence of a buffer solution and an internal standard, separation of the hydrolysate, derivatisation thereof, followed by chromatographic/mass spectrometric analysis of the sample and recording the obtained results and determining presence of steroids, where when preparing the analysed sample, the urine sample is hydrolysed with a mixture of two enzymes: β-glucuronidase E.coli and arylsulfatase H.pomatia with volume ratio from 1:1 to 1:3, and the buffer used is a citrate buffer solution.
EFFECT: lower detection threshold of xenobiotics and wider range of detected compounds.
