FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a platform for fibre-optic circuits and a splice tray for holding the fibre-optic splice. The splice tray is configured for rotary connection to the platform and has a clamping mechanism on its outer part. The clamping mechanism has an interlocking part and an optical fibre inlet/outlet channel in form of an extension from the base zone of the housing of the splice tray and passing near the corresponding channel of the platform for fibre-optic circuits. The splice tray has an optical fibre tracing structure which enables to change the direction of the optical fibre in two directions. The splice tray has a splice zone for supporting one of the following components: a 1×N optical splitter, a 2×N optical splitter, a WDM multiplexer, a CWDM multiplexer and combinations thereof.
EFFECT: direct maintenance of fibre-optic circuits in buildings and on the field.
