FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for protecting optical fibers. To this end, proposed cable box splice has detachable casing extending from first open end to second closed end. Said casing makes lengthwise inner chamber with round cross section. Box base can be attached to casing first open end to form closed inner chamber. Support frame is attached to the base to be located inside casing inner chamber. Note here that the frame has, right between first and second casing ends, one section supporting said casing, in fact, all along inner chamber length.
EFFECT: higher reliability.
