FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to a method for production of a fodder additive for ruminant animals. The fodder additive production method involves rye grains milling, moistening and extrusion. Milled rye grains (60%) are moistened in a mixer with a mixture of sunflower sludge (13%), fodder molasses (12%) and carbamide (15%). The produced moistened mixture is extruded during 8-10 sec. at a temperature of 130-140°C and under a pressure of 8-14 MPa.
EFFECT: said invention usage will allow to enhance protein and energy value of the extruded fodder.
