FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for usage in the field of agricultural industry for meat cattle growing. The proposed method allows to produce a protein feed additive in the form of a carbamide-bentonitic complex for ruminant animals. The carbamide-bentonitic complex is produced by way of combining carbamide with a powdered natural sorbent represented by sodium bentonite in distilled water conditioned to a temperature of 70°C, at a ratio of carbamide - 20%, sodium bentonite powder - 60% and distilled water -20%. The produced protein additive is applied in feedstuffs in an amount of 5% of the dry feedstuff substance.
EFFECT: proposed invention usage allows to reduce toxicity in the paunch of ruminant animals due to extended period of carbamide decay.
