FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology, to devices for stimulation of osteosynthesis of bone fractures, in particular for surgical treatment of fractures of tubular bones, which have intramedullary canal. Rod contains tube, stiffening ribs, head and end nozzle. Tube is made with possibility of filling internal cavity with liquid and increase of transverse section. Stiffening ribs are located along tube. Head and end nozzle are located respectively on proximal and distal ends of tube. In initial state tube has transverse section approached to triangular profile with concave inwards sides. Stiffening ribs are located on lateral sides of tube and can be formed together with tube or connected with it rigidly. Diameter of circumference described around stiffening ribs is larger or equals diameter of circumference described around tube.
EFFECT: invention ensures implantation of rod without considerable injuries in medullary cavity, as well as simplification of construction with increase of rigidity in initial state and ensures good stabilisation and fixation of position and shape of broken tubular bones.
