FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular to dentistry, and can be used for rehabilitation of patients with post-operation defects of jaw bones and teeth by manufacturing dentoalveolar prosthesis-obturator. Dentoalveolar prosthesis-obturator has base with artificial teeth and clasp elements of fixation, made from rigid polyurethane. Obturator is made hollow and has framework from rigid polyurethane and external surface from soft polyurethane. The entire prosthesis is made by casting method, including sections of formation of operation field external boundaries.
EFFECT: manufacturing of light-weight dentoalveolar prosthesis-obturator from polyurethane which ensures high congruence of prosthesis base to prosthetic bed, especially on the boundary of upper jaw defect, lowest adhesion of microorganisms to prosthesis-obturator, and recovery of patient's phonetics, distinct speech.
