FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to orthopedic dentistry, and is intended for rehabilitation of patients with post-operative defects of jaw bones of upper jaw. After operation impression of post-operative defect of patient's upper jaw is obtained. Gypsum model is made by impression. External borders of operation field are engraved on model in vertical and horizontal directions with 1.5-2.0 mm depth. Surface of jaw defect is covered with thin plate from clasp wax. Throughout plate surface by means of button periodontal probe in chessboard order made are hollows with 3 mm diameter. Obtained composition is duplicated with silicone mass. Clasp wax is replaced with soft polyurethane, after which, surface of obtained plate from soft polyurethane on model is covered with plate from clasp wax. Obtained composition is duplicated with silicone mass, clasp wax is replaced with rigid polyurethane in this way obtaining roof of hollow obturator which consists of two combined layers of rigid and soft polyurethane. Obtained obturator roof is installed into gypsum model and above it prosthesis basis is modelled from wax. Wax mould of obturator and dental prosthesis with setting teeth in articulator is modeled taking into account anthropometric parameters. Obtained composition is duplicated with silicone mass, wax composition is replaced with rigid polyurethane by casting method. Dentoalveolar prosthesis is obtained, gates are cut off, obtained prosthesis-obturator from prosthesis polyurethane and sections of formation of external boundaries of operation field are grinded and polished.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to ensure high congruency of prosthesis basis to prosthesis bed and the lowest adhesion of microorganisms to prosthesis-obturator due to manufacturing dentoalveolar prosthesis with basis from rigid polyurethane and hollow obturator from soft polyurethane with rigid frame.
