FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular to dentistry and can be used for orthopedic rehabilitation of patients with postoperative defects of upper jaw. Dentoalveolar obturator-prosthesis has metal basis, consisting of body, tightly fitting to mucous membrane of preserved hard palate (prosthetic bed), systems of cast supporting-retaining clasps and perforated retention plate located inextension of hard palate and covering postoperative defect, with fixed on it obturator, made in monolithic way from rigid plastic. Lower obturator boundary fits tightly to mucosa of operation field anastomosis with covering zones of undercuts and sections of anatomical retention. Obturator does not repeat postoperative defect completely and has shape of hollow bowl-shaped structure. Obturator boundaries can have different thickness and length. Cheek-facing obturator surface has maximally possible height and rounded butt end part, resting on bone structures of upper boundary of postoperative defect.

EFFECT: ensured are: reliable fixation of jaw prosthesis on boundaries of postoperative defect in patients with complete absence of teeth, improvement of esthetic parameters of patient's outlook due to covering cheek scar and support of soft tissues of cheek, recovery of their phonetics due to hollow bowl-like obturator shape, compensating resonator properties of paranasal cavities and non-preventing passage of air flow.
