METHOD AND MEANS OF VISUAL CORRECTION OF PATIENT'S PSYCHOSOMATIC CONDITION Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61M21/00

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to clinical psychology, namely psychotherapy, and is applicable for prevention and predicted correction of psychosomatic disorders and conditions. It involves suggestive exposure on the patient's condition directed on formation of negative or positive memories, or positive intention in the patient. Psychophysical exposure on subconscious processes in the patient's mentality is ensured by stimulation of its visual perception canals to a visual imaginery consisting of at least four blocks of dynamic video images sequentially transmitted. Each block contains at least 5 film hosts of video images with each film host lasting for 8-12 s. The first, third and fourth blocks consist of rotating images of objects at rotary speed 30-60 degree/s having an externally closed round shape coloured against a dark background. Image elements in each host of the first block have alternating directions of rotation. The hosts of the second block contain the symbolic images providing subconscious exposure with enabled activation of the last patient's experience. The hosts of the third block contain the images elements of which rotates counter-clockwise, and of the fourth one - clockwise. The exposure to dynamic information blocks is controlled by blood pressure and pulse parameters with the process continued to normalise the patient's psychoemotional and psychosomatic condition. The declared method is implemented by means of a complex of visual correction of the patient's psychosomatic condition.

EFFECT: group of inventions enable more effective correction of the patient's psychosomatic condition ensured by implementing the directed exposure on the patient's subconscious processes.
