SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely neurology, and can be used in treating patients with panic disorders. For this purpose, the patient is taught an Ericksonian hypnosis course of 8–10 sessions, once every 7–10 days. Repeat with patient is established at the first session. Semantic analysis of speech is carried out, as well as search of keywords, evaluation of representative systems for selection of actual metaphors and images for the purpose of their use in trance work, combined with immersion into pleasant memory associated with sensation of health, calmness, harmony, comfort, excellent mood, healthy sleep. Starting from the second session, each hypnosis session is prepared in advance taking into account the personality of the patient. During the second and subsequent sessions, the resource state is anchored by an olfactory stimulus by applying on the wrist therapeutic essences, including essential oils based on vanilla, lavender, rosemary, lemon, bergamot and grapefruit. At the end of each session, the patient is offered a homework in the form of post-hypnotic suggestion, namely, to draw an image, which came during the session, to conduct a session of self-hypnosis, causing the sensations formed during the session of health, calmness, harmony, comfort, excellent mood, healthy sleep. Patient twice daily applies medical essences on his wrist twice a day.

EFFECT: method provides effective elimination of panic attacks by using a complex of measures in a certain sequence using aromatherapy.
