SUBSTANCE: proposed steel contains the following components, in wt %: carbon - 0.06-0.12, silicon - 0.15-0.35, manganese - 0.60-1.20, nickel - 0.05-0.40, aluminium - 0.02 -0.05, titanium - 0.002 - 0.02, niobium - 0.025 - 0.06, vanadium - 0.03 - 0.05, sulfur - 0.001 - 0.005, phosphorus - 0.001 - 0.012, nitrogen - 0.005 - 0.008, calcium - 0.01 - 0.03, iron making the rest. Crack growth resistance in welding Ceq = C + V/5 + Ni/15 + Mn/6, % does not exceed 0.32.
EFFECT: yield point of 235 to 390 MPa, higher plasticity and viscosity at low temperatures and crack resistance in thicknesses of up to 70 mm.
