FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, to production of sheet metal with thickness of up to 25 mm from low alloyed cold-resistant structural steel for use in shipbuilding, fuel and energy complex. Performing steel making, containing, wt%: C 0.04–0.09; Si 0.15–0.35; Mn 1.9–2.10; Cr 0.8–1.10; Cu 0.6–0.9; Mo 0.18–0.3; V 0.02–0.06; Nb 0.02–0.05; Ti 0.01–0.03; S not more than 0.003; P not more than 0.012; Al 0.02–0.05; N not more than 0.012; Fe – balance and unavoidable impurities, including arsenic, lead, zinc, content of which is not more than As 0.02 %; Pb 0.005, Zn 0.01, wherein [Ti]/[N]≤4, and Pcm – not more than 0.32 %, where Pcm – crack resistance coefficient, %, teeming, heating of slabs for rolling to austenitising temperature 1,200 °C, which does not lead to complete dissolution in metal of carbide and carbonitride phases and considerable growth of grain, end of rolling at temperature of 690–750 °C, accelerated cooling to temperature of not more than 350 °C, tempering at 550–600 °C.
EFFECT: providing high strength, ductility and cold resistance.
