FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely to the plate iron production with thickness up to 100 mm from cold-resistant weld steel for the production of building structures, shipbuilding and other industries, including for the production of stationary marine structures intended for operation on the continental shelf in the northern seas. Steel may contain components at the following ratio, mass%: carbon from 0.05 to 0.07, silicon from 0.15 to 0.35, manganese from 1.10 to 1.30, nickel from 0.35 to 0.50, molybdenum from 0.04 to less than 0.08, aluminum from 0.015 to 0.055, niobium from 0.01 to 0.03, sulphur from 0.001 to 0.005, phosphorus from 0.001 to 0.010, nitrogen from more than 0.006 to 0.007, calcium from 0.0001 to 0.005, arsenic from 0.0001 to 0.005, antimony from 0.0001 to 0.005, tin from 0.0001 to 0.005, the rest being iron and unavoidable impurities, and the parameter of crack resistance during welding Pcm is less than 0.16.
EFFECT: high level of impact energy to a temperature of minus 80 °C and impact energy after strain aging to minus 60 °C is ensured, as well as the required level of strength and plastic characteristics after simulating post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) in thicknesses up to 100 mm.
