FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method involves receiving signals using antennae which form an array, and a receiver; preliminary determination of complex antenna directional patterns in array homing mesh nodes; multiplying each of the received signals by a complex conjugated directional pattern of the corresponding antenna and summation of the products for all antenna for each array homing mesh node. Unlike the existing method, a set of different values of complex directional patterns of each antenna for all array homing mesh nodes and the number of elements of the set for each antenna and array homing mesh node are determined. Multiplication of the received signals is carried out on complex conjugated elements of that set, and the obtained products are summed in accordance with the numbers of the elements of the set involved in the multiplication.
EFFECT: shorter time for determining angular spectrum by reducing the number of operations over signals by 32,9 times.
