FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device includes charging converter provided with possibility of changing the polarity of charging current, electrical gas storage tank including the housing, current collectors, electrodes separated with separator, made from current-conducting adsorbent, absorbed into electrolyte solution and connected to charging converter. Besides, device can be equipped with discharging converter connected to accumulator. Charging and discharging converters can be made in the form of single converter using bilateral switches. Electrodes can occupy the whole internal volume of housing. Water solution of NaCl can be used as electrolyte. As electrode material there can be used either activated carbon, or activated soot, or activated graphite, or colloidal carbon, or pyrocarbon, or their mixtures. Adsorbent separated from electrodes with separator is arranged above electrodes. Housing can be equipped with safety valve. Holes with covers are made in the housing. Device can be equipped with service related sensors, and housing of accumulator can be equipped with delivery valve connected to pump.
EFFECT: creation of electric power accumulation device with long operational life at minimum pollution of environment.
