FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: one or more messages on the person of the called user are first generated in the device of the called user. The messages are sent to the address of an intermediate network device where the messages and the address of the device of the called user are stored. A message on the person of the called user is then generated in the device of the calling user and sent to the address of the intermediate network device. In the intermediate device, the message on the person of the user, received from the calling user, is compared with previously received messages and the address of the device of the called user is determined from the comparison results. A message on the beginning of a communication session is then generated and sent to the devices of the calling and called users. During the communication session, data packets are received in the intermediate device from the device of the calling user; the address of the intermediate device is replaced in the obtained packets by the address of the device of the called user and the packets with the replaced address are sent to the device of the called user; data packets from the device of the called user are received; the address of the intermediate device is replaced in the obtained packets by the address of the device of the calling user and the packets with the replaced address are sent to the device of the calling user. Upon reception of a message on the end of the communication session, the received message is retransmitted to the corresponding user device and the communication session is ended.

EFFECT: allowing a network user to organise their own address space and protection from unauthorised communication sessions.
